Project receives funding from Alberta Farm Animal Care

Jim Haggins, Interim Manager of Alberta Farm Animal Care (AFAC), has announced a $25,000 funding contribution to The Alberta Dairy Hoof Health Project. The money, part of a grant received by AFAC from Alberta Agriculture and Rural Development to support initiatives that promote farm animal welfare, will be used to offset the cost of acquiring computerized lesion recording systems for seven Alberta hoof trimmers.
